Balham: Stunning Extension Transforms Property Into a Spacious and Modern Home

Sarah’s project presented a unique challenge because her property was located on a bustling main road in Balham. The project involved designing and constructing a living room extension that featured large windows to provide an unobstructed view of the beautiful garden. To overcome these challenges, we employed a charm offensive, engaging with the parking wardens, local businesses, and neighbours to negotiate temporary arrangements and ensure a smooth construction process. By establishing good relationships with the community, we were able to secure some concessions on parking restrictions, as well as coordinate deliveries and pickups during less busy periods.

In the end, the project was a success, with the living room extension seamlessly blending into the existing structure while providing a stunning view of the garden. The contemporary styling, along with the thoughtful design, created a space that not only met but exceeded Sarah’s expectations. Despite the challenges posed by the property’s location, our team was able to adapt and deliver a beautiful and functional extension that enhanced the overall aesthetic and value of Sarah’s home.
