Maximize Your Space With A Hip-To-Gable Dormer Loft Conversion: Jon’s New Malden Home Transformed.
Jon had been considering converting his loft into a hip-to-gable dormer. This type of conversion involves extending the side of the roof to create more headroom and floor space, which would enable him to add an extra bedroom, en-suite, bespoke fitted wardrobe, and a staircase leading to the room.
The first step in the process was to consult with the ShapeHouse team. We then worked closely with Jon to discuss his ideas and requirements and created a design that would maximize the available space while staying within his budget.
The new bedroom included a stylish en-suite bathroom and a bespoke fitted wardrobe to provide ample storage space for clothes and other items.
The staircase leading to the room was carefully designed to fit seamlessly into the house’s existing structure, ensuring that it was safe, functional, and aesthetically pleasing.
Throughout the project, we kept Jon informed of progress and worked with him to make any necessary adjustments.
We used high-quality materials and finishes to ensure that the new loft space was practical and visually appealing.
